Climate change, pandemics, burgeoning populations, large-scale hunger, job losses, social and cultural wars — this is the landscape the young inherit when they leave our schools and colleges. And yet our systems do little to prepare them to be informed and equipped to confront the rapidly transforming world, to grasp crucial daily change, to build truly global understandings and solidarities.

This is the ground on which Qomix is conceived.

Comics are an obsession with the young: the fastest growing publishing genre in the world, the medium and language in which gaming, cinema and pop culture speak.

Now, so will the nonfiction stories that matter, in dozens of languages, from French to Swahili and Hindi.
